Return & Refund Policy
At KC GADGETS, we are committed to providing quality UK used Samsung and iPhone devices. We carefully inspect our products before dispatch; however, we understand that issues may occasionally arise. This Return & Refund Policy explains the conditions under which returns and refunds may be accepted.
This policy is in line with the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA) 2018 of Nigeria.
Returns for Defective or Faulty Devices
If you receive a device that is defective, damaged upon delivery, or not functioning as described, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
After notification, we may request clear evidence of the issue, including photos or videos, before approving a return.
If the device is confirmed to be faulty due to a pre-existing issue and not customer misuse, KC GADGETS will offer one of the following:
Repair of the device
Replacement (subject to availability)
Full or partial refund, depending on the situation
The appropriate resolution will be determined after inspection of the returned device.
Devices Not as Described
If the product received is significantly different from what was described on our website (for example, incorrect model or storage capacity), you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
Upon verification, we will arrange for a replacement or refund as appropriate.
Conditions for Return
To qualify for a return:
The device must not be locked to any personal account (such as iCloud or Google account).
The device must not be blacklisted.
The device must not show signs of physical damage, liquid damage, or tampering after delivery.
All accessories supplied must be returned with the device.
If a returned device fails inspection due to misuse, new damage, or tampering after delivery, we reserve the right to refuse the return or deduct reasonable costs.
Change of Mind Returns
Due to the nature of used and refurbished electronics, KC GADGETS does not generally accept returns for change of mind once an order has been delivered, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Customers are advised to review product specifications carefully before completing their purchase.
Refund Process
Once a return is approved and the device has been received and inspected, refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days.
Refunds will be issued via the original payment method where possible. If this is not possible, an alternative method will be arranged.
Return Shipping
Where a return is approved due to fault or incorrect description, KC GADGETS may cover reasonable return shipping costs.
If the return is approved under special circumstances not related to fault, the customer may be responsible for return shipping costs.
Inspection and Resolution
All returned devices are subject to inspection. KC GADGETS reserves the right to determine the appropriate remedy in accordance with Nigerian consumer protection law.
